Sounds of Secrecy’

1 September - 3 October 2015
SANATORIUM will be exhibiting latest works of Yunus Emre Erdoğan in his first solo exhibition ‘Sounds of Secrecy’ between 01.09 – 03.10 2015.  The artist, who is in search of physical boundaries of the space and its subjective cognition, continues his act of looking in interior, private spaces. In Erdoğan’s works, reduced details, which detain the look in a space and cut them off from the outside world, draw significant attention. It seems that artist’s inner journey concretizes with the sequences he pick.  Artworks, which formed with graphite, have not only calmed but also tense atmosphere. It can be said that spatial elements in details of the works occasionally elude their figural form and serve a new consideration with genuine use of the technique.
