SANATORIUM proposes a duo booth consisting of work by Yağız Özgen and Christiane Peschek for Untitled Art Miami 2024. Both artists focus on visual data being analyzed from online archives and networks with different approaches. Özgen processes the images which are present in visual culture by utilizing various algorithms in digital media and deals with the complex relationships between objects and symbols with the dimension of time. Christiane Peschek’s works interface between post-photography, post-internet, text and painting, between analog processes and digital/virtual transformation. Peschek’s research focuses on treatments for the virtual augmentation of our bodies.
