SANATORIUM presents Berkay Tuncay’s solo presentation at this year’s Parallel Vienna takes place between September 6 - 11 at Semmelweis Frauenklinik, 1180 Wien. Berkay Tuncay’s (1983, İstanbul, TR) practice is based on investigating multi-layered effects of the Internet on global society by copying, combining, and transforming the cultural codes that are being distributed online. Tuncay took part in many international group exhibitions and presented his works on the online culture in diverse forms. Tuncay is currently an artist in residency and participant at Jan Van Eyck Academie (2021-2022).
