SANATORIUM presents Zeyno Pekünlü’s 6th solo show “All Her Sighs” between April 26 and June 1, 2024. The exhibition addresses the vicious cycles encountered in everyday life through different methods, and points out the possibilities of collective efforts to overcome them.

The 4-channel sound collage All Her Sighs, which gives its name to the exhibition, echoes the social conditions in the exhibition space by collecting the sighs from the full discography of a musician who holds significant value in the collective memory. The video Perfect Loop points out our expectations that are constantly suspended and are always put on hold. Within the The Possibilities, Significances and Connections series, the artist showcases prints of signs that she has clipped from almost two decades' worth of meeting notes. These signs point to the potential for agency and serve as a reminder of our persistent and collective efforts as opposed to the social impasse implied in the previous works.
