Sanatorium presents Ahmet Doğu İpek and Emin Mete Erdoğan’s works for Pulse Art Fair Miami. The works of two artists that are quite different are interrelated in terms of content. The artists depict examples that take the mankind’s show of strenght against nature.

Ahmet Doğu İpek’s watercolor on paper paintings formed by; gothic, bleak urban siluethes portray the mankind’s rule over nature and takes today’s obessively ascending architecture towards the sky and the carefree concretion of the cities as their theme. The cities of İpek’d design invigorate as macro organism that con sist of micro organisms.

Emin Mete Erdoğan studies human being’s desire to rule not just the world but the whole universe by focusing on the hadron colliders at Cern research center. Based on technical drawing the artist transforms the aesthetic of sciene and technology into art works. Through his paitings that has been done with acrylic on canvas technique he shows the complexity of the machines to the viewer with his drawings.

These two artists that Sanatorium propose display a precise, diverse and distinct implementation in details. So, this makes the plastic element of the works dominant.
